Industrial Economy

*NDRC and other departments released the "Contract Level and Benchmark Level of Energy Efficiency in Key Industrial Areas", which pointed out to further expand the scope of energy-saving and carbon reduction transformation and upgrading in key industrial areas, 25 fields including steelmaking, copper smelting and electrolytic aluminum will complete technological transformation or eliminate withdrawal by the end of 2025.

*The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and other four departments jointly issued a notice to deploy and arrange agricultural disaster prevention and reduction work, which pointed out to widely carry out policy publicity and technical training, popularize the impact of major agricultural meteorological disasters and scientific disaster prevention and control measures.

*National Energy Administration: Further promote the revision of the Energy Law, Power Law, Coal Law and Renewable Energy Law. Promote the improvement of standards for carbon peak and carbon neutrality in key areas, and continuously improve a series of policies for promoting carbon peak and carbon neutrality in the energy field.

*SAFE: The Beijing Foreign Exchange Management Department of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange issued the "Regulations on the Concentrated Operation and Management of Local and Foreign Currency Cross-border Funds of Multinational Enterprises (pilot)", which pointed out that financial institutions, local government financing platforms and real estate companies are not allowed to participate in the centralized operation of cross-border funds in foreign currencies by multinational corporations.

* Precious metals closed mix. COMEX gold contract up 0.21% to closed at $1933.6/oz. SHFE gold active contract down 0.09% and closed at 450.18 yuan/gram.
